Big congratulations to Charlie and Deeann Melhinch on their purchase of "Greystones Tongue
Twister". The entire barn is looking forward to watching the continued success of Dale and George
in the Grand Prix ring!
Greystone welcomed some new additions to the barn in July. Welcome to Caity and Lily Meggison,
Mary Beth Raynor and Peyton Carrington to the barn.
Congratulations to everybody on a very successful NCHJA horse show this month. Champion or
Reserve ribbons went out to Amy Blacks "Power Play", Elizabeth Blacks "Woodlands Hannah
Banana", Mary Roughgarden and "Undecided" and Lily Meggison and "Tator Tot".

The City League International horse show in Asheville, NC was successful for all who showed.
Dale showed Antique and Undecided to the Champion and Reserve spots in the pre green hunters.
Caity Meggison claimed the Champion ribbon in the 15-17 equitation and Mary Roughgarden
Reserve Champion in the Childrens hunters
In the jumper ring, Leslie Flythe piloted Live Blue Wire to a well deserved second place in the
Special jumpers.

3rd place finish in the 1.30 Jumper Classic at the Greensboro A show
Dale also showed Amy Blacks 4 year old "Power Play" to 9th place
finish in the $5000 hunter derby. A great result from such a young
horse!
Also in the ribbons were Lilly Meggison and "Woodlands Hanna
Banana" taking Reserve Champion in the Schooling pony division.

this month. Also congratulations to Kevin Chavis and "Crow" and to Dale and "Ripley Z" on their successes in the
jumper ring at this same horse show.

and their 9th place finish in the $10000 CLI speed class.

Welcome Tyler James and Rosehill Clover to Greystone this month. Look out for
them in the child/adult jumper division.
The Duke and RMI Horse shows proved successful with Championship ribbons going
out to Dale and Ripley Z and Leslie Flythe and Live Blue Wire. Tongue Twister was
8th in the $5000 speed class but an unlucky one rail down kept him out of the money
in the $30000 Grand Prix
